After watching these guys freeze outside last winter, John and I decided something has got to be done. It all started when an
irresponsible pet owner allowed their animal outside without having it fixed. This overtime resulted in a feral cat population of over 30 cats, and kittens roaming about. We've tried finding charities that could help with vet care, but nothing effective is really available for the town of
Brookhaven. Low cost vet care is great, but when dealing with 30 cats/kittens and making min wage, it's not really a
feasible option to treat all of these guys. We are doing the best we can with the sick ones first. We have adopted a kitten I found on it's deathbed with severe conjunctivitis and an upper
respiratory infection. She is now a very lucky little girl. She is the kitten on the home page of the blog. We have named her Jackie and she now a very happy and healthy little girl. I can't thank John enough for being there for these cats and for me when it really matters but we need your help too. As caring as he is John and I can't do it all alone. Now I wish to share these cats with you all, in hopes to find them all a good home. These cats have become apart of our lives and they deserve so much more.
